Ninas, Bdays and Paint

The Girls have been busy and enjoyed having some "ninas" (girls) visiting for a few days.  Our guests, Keira and Elsie, were the bees' knees, as Nonnie Lo says.  Keira and Elsie were excellent role models for Caroline and Victoria.

Victoria has been finding better things to do during her naptime.  You'll see a couple examples of this later on.  The background was that Papa came back in the house and saw that V was not in her naproom, in fact, she wasn't anywhere to be seen.  Upon closer inspection, the found a huge mess, to say the least, and Victoria sitting in the sink in the bathroom trying to "clean up".

We enjoyed a day up at Lake Delavan and the Girls were able to play with Johnny H and Dillon H; Caroline was co-captain of the boat for about an hour straight.

Last, but not least, the Girls were able to celebrate with Baby Charlie, his first birthday.

"Me like it!"  C loves special drinks like Capri Suns.

A very patient Captain allowed C to help commandeer the pontoon on Lake Delavan.

Happy Faces!

Visiting the old 'hood before Charlie's 1st Bday party.

The Girls are getting very ambitious on the park obstacles.

V likes to laugh while doing monkey rings, which makes it difficult to hold on, but she's getting better.
Brooke, V and Baby Charlie.  Happy as a clam on his Bday.

We were early for the party, so the Girls got some one-on-one time w/ Baby Charlie.  You may be looking at 3 southpaws.

Charlie!
