Monkey in the Middle

Poor C.  Just as she figures out the crawling thing, her little sister gets up and literally starts running circles around her!

Climbin', Pickin', Swimmin'

V is a climber, period.  Stairs, mantles, people...she loves to be on the move.  Unfortunately, the way down is a bumpy ride!

She won't like this one when she's older, but right now C loves to explore her nasal cavity while she eats.  Not exactly a nose-pick, more of a curiosity thing.

C, V, and their friend Charlie enjoyed the baby pool.  The 3 of them had a great time.

Uncle Sean and Caroline.  Somehow this evening, both C and V stayed up way past their bedtime and were super -mellow.

Great Uncle Mike and V bonded on the deck.  Notice his wrist is sans a watch, thanks to V!

A New Frontier

Now that C has mastered crawling...
...the Girls can now explore together.  Today they discovered that drawers open and that there is stuff in them.

On the Move

The Girls have been busy exploring their World that is getting bigger each day.  We are all very happy for Caroline who has matched her sister as of a few days ago, by taking her first crawling steps.  They now can follow Mom and Dad around the house like little duckies swim after their Mama.  It is quite entertaining!

Mom is hoping the Girls adjust to hair bows to enhance their  already-impressive charm.

We have also been working on the 'ol Sippy Cups.  Victoria basically chews her w/ 90% of the water dripping down on her body.

Caroline enjoyed some of the special Gymboree bubbles.  These bubbles are crazy- they can maintain their bubble shapes for hours.

How big is Caroline?!!

How big is Victoria?!!

We have to give Victoria credit; she exhibits little fear at this point!

A day at the horse track.  Just missing the virgin Mint Julips.

Caroline get so pumped when she can  accompany Victoria in her standing-up demonstrations.  C isn't quite strong enough to pull herself up to a stand position on her own, but she's getting close.  They do like to do a baby-scream in unison, usually coupled with rapid arm movements.

Victoria has started to try standing on her own, so we put her behind the walker.  First try, she walked 1/2 way across the room before falling backward.  Startled, she shared her adorable cry and hasn't since shown any interest in jumping behind the walker .
